The most popular used cars in Russia for the fall were named

In the fall of 2024, Lada Granta became the most popular used model on the Russian market. Its sales increased by 42.9% compared to the same period last year. This is stated in the report "Auto.ru Business", which was received by "Izvestia" on December 9.

At official dealers Lada Granta in the fall cost Br718.7 thousand (2.8% higher than a year earlier), at private sellers the average price was Br626.4 thousand (+5.5%).

The second most popular model was Kia Rio. Compared to the fall of 2023, sales increased by 20.3%. The cost of this model was also higher at dealers than from private sellers - Br1.21 million (-6.3%) vs. Br1.09 million (+0.8%).

The third line is occupied by Hyundai Solaris. The growth of sales relative to September - November 2023 amounted to 20.7%. Dealers could buy the model for an average of Br1.14 million (-5.8%). Private sellers asked for 1.05 million rubles, which is almost the same as last year's figure.

AvtoVAZ turned out to be the most popular domestic brand on the secondary market, sales grew by 9.7%. Demand for GAZ and UAZ cars decreased by 18.8% and 16.3%, respectively. Among Chinese car brands, Chery (+40.7%) tops the list, followed by Geely (share increased by 7.4%) and Haval (sales soared by 100.1%). Analysts noted that compared to last year there is a decrease in prices for used cars of these Chinese brands.
