On December 10, the Izvestia Media Center is hosting a press conference on the topic: "Seven Years of Neurofibromatosis Patient Support System in Russia".

Experts discuss the situation with the incidence of neurofibromatosis in Russia, key tasks and opportunities for further development of the patient support system, as well as achievements in the field of medical care for children with neurofibromatosis.

Among the participants of the meeting:

- Natalia Kulakova, Head of the Project Activities Department of the Circle of Goodness Foundation;

- Marina Dorofeeva, neurologist-epileptologist, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Head of the center of phacomatosis at the Y.E. Veltischev Research Institute of Pediatrics and Children's Surgery of the N.I. Pirogov Russian National Research Institute of Pediatrics and Children's Surgery of the Russian Ministry of Health;

- Yulia Dinikina, hematologist, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Head of the Department of Chemotherapy of Oncohematologic Diseases and Bone Marrow Transplantation, V.A. Almazov National Medical Center of the Russian Ministry of Health;

- Vladimir Strelnikov, Head of the Epigenetics Laboratory of the N.P. Bochkov FGBNU MGNSC, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor of the Department of General and Medical Genetics of the N.I. Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University. N.I. Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia;

- Evgenia Logacheva, Medical Director, Oncology and Rare Diseases, AstraZeneca;

- Yury Zhulyov, Co-Chairman of the All-Russian Patients' Union;

- Anna Chistoprudova, Founder of the MROO "22/17", an organization for assistance to patients with neurofibromatosis.
