During the New Year vacations Russians will see the premiere of the fairy tale "Finist. The First Bogatyr"

A new movie about a superhero who is ready to stand up to defend not only Russian lands, but also eastern ones - "Finist. The first bogatyr" is released in theaters on January 1. According to the December 9 correspondent of "Izvestia", the picture will expand the domestic fairy tale movie universe and tell the backstory of the famous characters.

Viewers are waiting for epic battles, intricate inventions and colorful landscapes. The creators promise that the plot will be interesting to both children and adults. Everything native Russian in the frame is closely intertwined with the mysterious East - the scenery for the movie were steppes, sands and mountains of Kazakhstan.

"Special effects and graphics maximally immerse in the atmosphere of the fairy tale, exciting and sometimes frightening. The journey of the first Russian bogatyr will take viewers to the East. Here the hero is waiting for trials and magic. An incredible world where even camels are talking", - said the correspondent Sergei Khaidarov.

The camel Jamal is the character whose jokes viewers must be sure to parse into quotations. For his role was a serious casting. Thus, the fairy tale about the Russian bogatyr played with colors on the background of majestic dunes, not the usual Russian forests.

"We wanted some other colors. The East is first of all sand, a riot of colors in clothes. All this should both impress the characters within the work, and the viewer to transfer this that the world is wider, the world is more interesting, the world is colorful", - said the creative producer, the author of the script of the film Vyacheslav Zub.

On the screen - a truly stellar cast. Many will appear in an unusual role for themselves. Julia Peresild, for example, will play Baba Yaga. Actor Kirill Zaitsev returned to the role of Finist. In conversation with "Izvestia" he noted that he discovered Kazakhstan, calling it "paradise on earth".

The film will be released in wide distribution by distributor NMG Kinoprokat, part of the holding company National Media Group (NMG). "Finist. The First Bogatyr" - a prequel to the popular "Bogatyr" movies, which are released from 2021. The fairy-tale picture will tell the story of the formation of the main Russian Bylin hero, mixing the past and the present in one cocktail.

Earlier, on November 26, the Cinema Fund held a full-time defense of projects from eight studios-majors. A total of 17 films were presented. Among those that are in the works and will be released - a spin-off "One Hundred Years Ago Forward" about the hero of Alexander Petrov "Veselchak U", "The Adventures of Old Man Hottabych" with Fyodor Bondarchuk and a sequel not even released yet "The Wizard of Emerald City". There were also new potential box office blockbusters, as well as those that have already claimed support, including "Cheburashka 2," "Gorynych," "Birth of an Empire" and "Battle of the Engines."
