US embassy in Ukraine warns Americans of heightened threat of attacks

The US embassy in Kiev has warned American citizens about the increased threat of attacks in Ukraine. Information about this was published on December 8 on the website of the American embassy.
"Due to increased threats <...> missiles and drones targeting critical civilian infrastructure in Ukraine, the US Embassy in Kiev urges US citizens to exercise increased caution," - stated in the message.
In addition, the embassy urged to observe curfew, follow the instructions of the authorities, use shelters at the time of the air alert, as well as to stock up on water, food, medicines and follow the information, "Gazeta.Ru" specifies.
Earlier in the day, Ukrainian media reported about explosions amid the air alert in Brovary district of Kiev region and Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Russian forces in October 2022 began strikes on military facilities and related energy and communications facilities in Ukraine. As Russian President Vladimir Putin explained, this was in response to terrorist actions by the Kiev regime.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Putin announced on February 24, 2022, is ongoing. The decision was taken against the background of the worsening situation in the region.
