Head of Zaporizhzhya OVA said about 218 explosions in the region over the day

In the part of Zaporizhzhya Region controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), 218 explosions took place over the past 24 hours. This was reported on Monday, December 9, by the Kiev-appointed head of the regional military administration of the region, Ivan Fyodorov.

In his Telegram channel, he specified that there were at least 218 explosions in 11 localities. According to Fedorov, several infrastructure facilities were damaged, notes "Gazeta.Ru".

The Russian Defense Ministry did not comment on the information about the explosions.

Earlier in the day, the Ukrainian TV channel TSN reported that in Brovary district of Kiev region and Ivano-Frankivsk region there were explosions amid an air alert.

Before that, on December 7, Ukrainian media reported an explosion in Konotop, Sumy region. The explosions were heard against the background of an announced air alert.

Russian troops in October 2022 began strikes on military facilities and related energy and communications facilities in Ukraine. As Russian President Vladimir Putin explained, this was a response to the Kiev regime's terrorist actions.
