New Year's Eve fireworks were canceled in Kamchatka


New Year's fireworks have been canceled in Kamchatka Krai. About it on Monday, December 9, told the head of the region Vladimir Solodov.
"Decided to cancel the New Year's fireworks," he wrote in his Telegram-channel, commenting on the results of the operational meeting.
Solodov specified that the decision was made to support the fighters who are now in the zone of special military operation (SMO).
Earlier, on December 6, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that there are no plans to launch New Year's fireworks in the capital this year.
Before that, on November 28, the first deputy chairman of the A Just Russia faction, Dmitriy Gusev, appealed to the heads of all regions with a proposal to refuse fireworks on New Year's Eve and to use the money saved to help the participants of the special military operation and their families.
