In Krasnoyarsk, a two-year-old girl died after being electrocuted by a refrigerator

A two-year-old girl in Krasnoyarsk died from an electric shock while trying to open a refrigerator. As reported on December 9 by the press service of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the region, the tragedy occurred in the evening on December 6 in an apartment on Alesha Timoshenkova Street.

According to preliminary data, the child was at home under the supervision of his 13-year-old brother. At some point, the girl decided to open the refrigerator and stood with her feet on the metal radiator standing next to it. When she touched the body of the refrigerator, she was electrocuted. The doctors who arrived on the call stated the death of the child.

"A criminal case has been instituted on the signs of a crime under part 1 of article 109 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence")", - stated in the Telegram-channel of the Department.

It is known that the girl was brought up in a complete family, no one was on the preventive account. The circumstances of the incident continue to be established.

Before that, on December 2, in North Ossetia, four fifth-grade students were hospitalized because of a pencil. According to the Minister of Education and Science of RNO-Alania Ella Alibekova, the incident occurred during a math lesson at educational institution No. 2 in Chermen. Children were drawing a section, after which one of the students took out a certain plastic pencil. After that, a pungent odor immediately appeared, and four pupils became ill. The children were hospitalized. Their condition is stable, the Minister specified.
