A magnitude 5.6 earthquake was recorded in El Salvador.


An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 occurred in El Salvador. This was reported on December 9 in the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center(EMSC).
The origin of the earthquake was at a depth of 15 km, 44 km to the south-east of the city of San Miguel. There is no information about casualties and destruction.
Earlier in the same day the earthquake with magnitude 6.3 was recorded near the Aleutian Islands. The origin of the earthquake was at a depth of 18 km and was recorded at 22:57 Moscow time. It was located 113 km from the town of Adak in Alaska.
