Two people died in a road accident on Sakhalin Island

Two people died in a traffic accident on Sakhalin. This was reported on December 8 in the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate for the region.

"According to preliminary data, 59-year-old driver, driving a Nissan Wingroad, moving in the northern direction on the highway, failed to cope with the management, drove into the oncoming lane of the road, where he collided with a car Lexus GX460, moving in the southern direction", - stated in the message in the Telegram-channel of the department.

The driver and 36-year-old female passenger of the Nissan Wingroad died before the ambulance arrived. Employees of the State traffic police find out the circumstances of the incident.

Earlier in the day it became known that a car with a child at the wheel overturned in Vladivostok. The injured were hospitalized. It is preliminarily established that the teenager without the knowledge of adults took the keys to the car and went for a ride with a friend. A check is being carried out on this fact.
