The driver of a bus that was attacked by a Ukrainian drone in Gorlovka, Donetsk People's Republic, told Izvestia on December 8 the details of the incident.

"The attack was made by an unspecified drone. I managed to react in time, the drone caught only the glass," - shared Sergey Babenkov.

The man is still in a state of affect after the attack of the militants of the Armed forces of Ukraine (AFU). After the explosion, the driver helped the injured people, and after taking the wounded to the hospital.

Earlier in the day it was reported that at least seven people were injured in the AFU attack on buses in Horlivka. Ukrainian militants dropped an explosive object from a UAV on a bus of route No. 8 in a residential area of the Nikitovsky district of Horlivka, resulting in civilian casualties. It was noted that the bus driver took the injured to hospital. They are being provided with the necessary medical care.

Ukrainian militants are daily shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions against the background of the special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
