AFU attacked a priest's car delivering humanitarian aid

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have used an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to attack the car of the rector of the Kazan church, Vasyl Turenko, which was delivering humanitarian aid in Horlivka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR). This was reported by the mayor of the city Ivan Prikhodko on December 8.
"The drone flew into the car of our priest. Today the rector of the Kazan church in the Komsomolets neighborhood of Gorlovka Archpriest Vasily Turenko was delivering humanitarian aid. Strike drones are hunting civilian cars in this neighborhood. <...> Fr. Vasily is unharmed. But to travel now for some time, probably, will be on the bus," he wrote in his Telegram-channel.
Earlier in the day, Prikhodko said that at least seven people were injured in an AFU attack on buses in Horlivka. He specified that the militants dropped an explosive object from a UAV on a bus of route No. 8 in a residential area of the Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka, resulting in civilian casualties.
Ukrainian militants have been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions, on a daily basis amid the special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
