IC: six officers faked injuries of 45 military officers and stole 240 million rubles

Russian officers organized imitation of injuries of servicemen and thus stole 240 million rubles. This was reported to Izvestiya on December 8 by the Investigative Committee of Russia (IC RF).
It is specified that six officers organized the imitation of injuries of 45 military men and thus received funds intended for compensation to the military.
The accomplices of the crime are being brought to criminal responsibility, the IC added.
Earlier, on November 14, Russia signed a decree on a lump-sum payment of 4 million rubles to participants of a special military operation, disabled as a result of wounds and injuries.
