The Defense Ministry published footage of the defeat of AFU manpower and equipment in Kharkiv region

On 8 December, the Russian Defence Ministry published footage of the Russian Armed Forces' "North" military grouping hitting an area where Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) troops and equipment were concentrated in Kharkiv Region.

It is specified that the accumulation of the AFU's manpower and equipment was detected in the shelters during reconnaissance by the military of the "North" grouping of troops. After analyzing the reconnaissance data, a decision was made to fire.

As a result of the use of the TOS-1A Solntsepek heavy flamethrower system, the Ukrainian militants' hideouts were destroyed.

The operation was recorded in real time by means of objective control.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the crew of the Su-34 multifunctional supersonic fighter-bomber of the Air and Space Forces struck a strike on a concentration of personnel, armored and automotive military equipment of the AFU in the Kursk border area.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
