Media reported IDF control over Mount Hermon in Syria

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) took control of Mount Hermon. This was reported by Al Arabiya TV channel on December 8.

The control of the position was realized after the retreat of the Syrian army.

The Foreign Ministry called on the parties involved in the situation in Syria to resolve issues peacefully and not to use violence. In addition, the agency reported on maintaining contact with all groups of the Syrian opposition.
