Two flares of the highest class X and M occurred on the Sun. About it on Sunday, December 8, reported in the Solar Activity Monitoring Center.

"At 12:06 Moscow time, a flare X2.3 was registered in the X-ray range. Earlier in the day at 01:15 Moscow time, a flare M3.2 was registered in the X-ray range in the group of spots 3917 (S07E27)," the representatives of the center told TASS, pointing out that the duration of the latter phenomenon was 13 minutes.

Meanwhile, according to the SpaceWeatherLive portal, the probability of an M-class solar flare on Sunday is 50%.

Earlier, November 19, the head of the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy IKI RAS Sergey Bogachev predicted that the maximum solar activity in 2025 will fall on the summer period. The scientist noted that the peak of solar activity in the current year was in August.

Before that, on November 7, neurologist, expert physician of the laboratory "Hemotest" Ekaterina Demyanovskaya told "Izvestia" that electromagnetic fields can affect the work of the autonomic nervous system. She noted that general health promotion helps to weaken the impact of storms on the body, such as doing as much exercise as possible, taking walks in the fresh air, and drinking enough water on a regular basis.
