Mass poisoning of child athletes from the Sverdlovsk region occurred in the YNAO

In the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, 39 children from the Sverdlovsk region, who came to the skating competition, were poisoned. This was reported on December 8 in the press service of the investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the region.

"According to the version of the investigation, on December 7, 2024 in Tarko-Sale passed Interregional competitions in speed skating, where underage athletes from the Sverdlovsk region performed. After that, about 39 children went to the hospital with signs of poisoning, nausea, vomiting, some children were hospitalized", - stated in the message on the website of the department.

Investigators have organized an inquiry into the incident.

In late October, 15 people were hospitalized with acute intestinal infection in Novotroitsk, Orenburg region. According to the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region, the city has organized a check for signs of a crime under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet the requirements of safety of life or health of consumers").
