The number of injured in the accident involving two streetcars in Perm has increased to 23 people. This was reported on Sunday, December 8, by the press service of the Ministry of Health for the Perm region.

"As a result of an accident with streetcars for medical help a total of 23 people," - stated in the message of the department.

It is specified that at the moment in the hospital continues its treatment of one victim, whose condition is assessed as satisfactory, another 22 people are sent for outpatient treatment.

On the same day, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia (IC RF) Alexander Bastrykin instructed to initiate criminal proceedings on the fact of the accident involving two streetcars in Perm.

Theaccident in Perm was reported by the head of the city Eduard Sosninon December 7. At the intersection of Uralskaya and Krupskaya Streets there was an accident involving two streetcars No. 7 and No. 8.

Initially, the Izvestiya source reported that 21 people, including two children, were injured in the collision.
