In the village of Zanevka, Leningrad region, an eight-year-old boy was shot in the eye from a toy crossbow, he was hospitalized in serious condition. This was told on December 8 in the press service of the main department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the region.

"The police are checking the circumstances of the incident with a child in the village of Zanevka of the Vsevolozhsk district of Lenoblast region. On December 7, the police of the Vsevolozhsky district received a report from a 40-year-old local resident that in the village of Zanevka a neighbor boy shot from a toy crossbow in the eye of his eight-year-old son", - stated in the message.

It is noted that the 11-year-old boy accidentally shot the applicant's son with a reed stalk. On this fact, the police are conducting an investigation, the results of which will be decided.

On November 21 in Moscow, a minor boy was injured with an air gun at a playground. According to the victim, he did not hear any sounds and did not see the citizens who fired the shot. A check is being carried out on this fact.
