Putin congratulated actress Alisa Freindlikh on her jubilee

Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated theater and film actress, People's Artist of the USSR Alisa Freindlikh on her jubilee. This follows from a telegram published on the Kremlin website on December 8.

"Dear Alisa Brunovna, I heartily congratulate you on your jubilee. You, a wonderful actress, a true legend of theater and cinema, are loved, without exaggeration, by millions of viewers both in Russia and far beyond its borders," the congratulatory message reads.

The head of state noted that over the years of creative work Freindlikh has made a great contribution to the development of national art, and each of her works is a recognized standard of excellence and fidelity to her work.

"I wish you success, health and all the best," he concluded.

Earlier on Sunday, Putin awarded Freindlikh with the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, first degree. Mikhail Piotrovsky, general director of the State Hermitage Museum and president of the Union of Museums of Russia, was also awarded the order.
