Head of the Investigative Committee instructed to initiate criminal proceedings over the collision of streetcars in Perm

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia (IC RF) Alexander Bastrykin has instructed to initiate criminal proceedings in connection with the accident involving two streetcars in Perm. This was reported by the agency in its Telegram channel on Sunday, December 8.

"On this fact the investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Perm region is conducting an audit," - stated in the message.

It is noted that Denis Golovin, head of the investigative department in the Perm region, has been instructed to provide a report.

Theaccident that happened in Perm on December 7 was reported by the head of the city Eduard Sosnin. According to him, there was an accident involving two streetcars No. 7 and No. 8 at the intersection of Uralskaya and Krupskaya Streets.

According to "Izvestia", 21 people were injured as a result of the collision. According to the source, among the injured are two children. It is noted that 18 people were sent for outpatient treatment, three were hospitalized.
