An industrial facility in Voronezh Region caught fire after a Ukrainian drone fell. This was reported by the governor of the region Alexander Gusev on December 8.

"Last night on duty air defense forces and REB means on the territory of one of the districts of Voronezh region detected and suppressed several Ukrainian UAVs. As a result of the fall of one drone there was a fire at an industrial facility," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Gusev specified that the fire was eliminated, there were no casualties as a result of the incident. At the site continue to work employees of operational services.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry said that air defense means overnight destroyed 46 Ukrainian UAVs over Belgorod, Kursk, Voronezh, Rostov and Astrakhan regions.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
