Two UAVs were reported destroyed in the Rostov region

Air defense forces destroyed two drones over Rostov region. This was reported on December 8 by Yuri Slyusar, acting governor of the region.

"Two UAVs were destroyed in the Novoshakhtinsk area. Due to the fall of one of them, windows in stores were broken," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Slyusar pointed out that there were no traces of fire, there were no victims as a result of the incident.

Earlier, on December 7, the Russian Defense Ministry said that air defense forces shot down four drones overnight over Belgorod, Astrakhan and Voronezh regions. The destroyed drones were of the airplane type, the ministry added.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) is trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
