Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said on 7 December that he did not believe in US President-elect Donald Trump's ability to end the Ukrainian conflict in 24 hours.

According to him, Trump's victory means as much for Ukraine as it does for any other European country, and this new reality needs to be worked with.

"This is a new reality that we have to accept and work with. There is a lot of noise around his first statements and calls. But so far it's all just words. We have to measure him by his actions. It is clear that there will be no quick end to the war. It's simply not possible. Whatever plan Trump has, he will have to undergo a reality check," he said in an interview with Die Presse.

Earlier, on December 4, it became known that the Trump team has three plans to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. So, this is the plan of the US special envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg, one is from Trump's vice-president-elect JD Vance, and the other is put forward by Richard Grenell, Trump's former acting intelligence chief.

Before that, on Nov. 14, Trump promised to "work very hard" to end the conflict in Ukraine. Before that, on November 12, former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard said that Trump's goal is to prevent World War III.

The election of the 47th President of the United States was held on November 5. In the popular vote, Trump received 51% of the vote and Harris received 47.4%. The voting results were met with prolonged applause at Trump's campaign headquarters. The politician himself later called himself the 47th president of the United States. Speaking to supporters, the Republican said that his goal as head of state considers the end of military conflicts in the world.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
