The Syrian Armed Forces denied that militants had infiltrated the city of Homs

The Armed Forces (AF) of the Syrian Arab Republic (SAR) denied information about the penetration of militants in the city of Homs. This was reported on December 7 by the press service of the SAR Defense Ministry on Facebook (banned in Russia, owned by Meta Corporation, recognized as extremist in Russia).
"The news spread by information resources associated with terrorist organizations that terrorists have penetrated the city of Homs does not correspond to reality," the publication said.
It is noted that the situation is safe and stable.
Earlier, December 7, the Syrian Defense Ministry reported that SAA servicemen together with Russian air force defeated terrorist units in the north of Homs province.
Before that, on December 5, it was reported that the Russian and Syrian Air Forces destroyed at least 300 terrorists in the North Caucasus. The operation was carried out in the provinces of Idlib, Hama and Aleppo.
On November 28, the Syrian Defense Ministry reported that terrorist groups made a major attack in Aleppo and Idlib, and the country's army began to repel it, causing serious damage to equipment and manpower of militants. The next day it became known that hundreds of terrorists in Aleppo and Idlib provinces were eliminated.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi on November 30 called the activation of terrorists in Syria part of the US plan against the background of Israel's defeat in Lebanon. In turn, the White House denied its involvement in what is happening. In addition, Britain, the United States, France and Germany called on all parties in Syria to de-escalate.
