Russian cyclist Alina Lysenko on December 7 reached the final of the fifth stage of the Champions League in the track cycling keirin, which gave her an early overall win in the sprint.

The Russian athlete is reported to have scored 140 points. This is her sixth victory in the current Champions League season.

The competition was held at the Lee Valley velodrome in London. The Champions League cycling final will be held later on Saturday.

Earlier, on November 23, Russian Lysenko won in the keirin at the first stage of the Champions League on the track. The competition was held in France.
