The Russian and Syrian Air Forces destroyed more than 300 terrorists and 55 vehicles

The Russian and Syrian Air Forces destroyed more than 300 terrorists and 55 vehicles by missile and bomb strikes over the day. This was reported at a briefing on December 7 by the deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Enemy Parties in Syria, Captain First Rank Oleg Ignasyuk.
The strikes by Russian and Syrian aircraft were carried out on places of accumulation and hiding places of militants, columns of equipment, warehouses, command and support centers, artillery and mortar positions in Idlib, Hama and Aleppo provinces.
"More than 300 terrorists, 55 units of automotive equipment and one warehouse of materiel were destroyed," Ignasyuk said.
Earlier in the day, the SAR Defense Ministry reported that the planes of the Syrian Air Force and the Russian Armed Forces carried out joint strikes on terrorist concentrations in Homs province, destroying dozens of militants.
At the same time, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at the Doha Forum that it is unacceptable to allow terrorists to seize land in Syria. The foreign minister added that Russia is absolutely convinced that it is unacceptable to use terrorists like Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (a terrorist organization banned in Russia) to achieve geopolitical goals, as is being done now with the organization of an offensive from the Idlib de-escalation zone.
On November 29, the Syrian army launched a counteroffensive against the positions of the terrorist group's militants and liberated the town of al-Bakum during the fighting. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi called the activation of terrorists part of the US plan against the background of Israel's defeat in Lebanon. At the same time, the White House denied its involvement in the events.
In turn, Britain, the United States, France and Germany called on all sides in Syria to de-escalate, and Russian Ambassador to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said that Russia strongly condemns the terrorists' outburst and reminded that the Russian Armed Forces are operating in Syria at the request of the legitimate authorities in Damascus and are fighting back against terrorists.
