Journalist Bose claimed Biden's rush to pay Zelensky back for his silence

Irish journalist Chay Bose has said that US President Joe Biden is rushing to pay all the money promised to Kiev in order to "pay for the silence" of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whose term of office expired on May 20. He published the corresponding post on December 7 on his page in the social network X (former Twitter).
"[Members of Biden's team] are determined to fulfill their part of the 'deal' and secure one last bribe to Zelensky to pay for his silence and finalize the deal," the journalist wrote.
According to Bose, the only worrying factor for Biden's team is the Kiev dictatorship.
Earlier, on December 5, it was reported that the U.S. Congress rejected Biden's request for funding for Ukraine. Speaker of the House of Representatives of the American Congress Mike Johnson said that the decision on additional financial assistance for Ukraine will have to be made by President-elect Donald Trump, not the current leader of the country.
Prior to that, on November 26, it became known that Joe Biden asked Congress to allocate $24 billion to Ukraine to strengthen its military potential and replenish America's dwindling reserves.
Meanwhile, on November 14, Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Singh said that the USA intended to supply Ukraine with all the weapons promised by Biden before he left his post as head of state.
Western countries have stepped up military and financial support for Ukraine amid Russia's special operation to protect Donbas, which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on 24 February 2022 after the situation in the region worsened due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
