Gladkov told about the damage to power lines in Shebekino after the AFU drone attack

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have attacked Belgorod Region with drones; as a result of the strike, a power transmission line (PL) was damaged in Shebekino. Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the Belgorod region, said on December 7.

"The AFU with the help of drones are again striking our region. There are no casualties. In Shebekino, as a result of detonation of one drone on the territory of a private household, the windows in the outbuildings were blown out and the glazing and fence of the neighboring household were damaged. Two more drones hit one of the enterprises - a power line was broken," - wrote the head of the region in his Telegram-channel.

Gladkov also added that a private house was attacked in the village of Otradnoye in Belgorod district, its roof was damaged. Information about the consequences of the attacks is being clarified.

The day before, Gladkov said that a woman was injured as a result of an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Ukrainian army on a passenger car in the town of Shebekino, Belgorod region. In addition to the passenger car, a neighboring car was damaged.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
