Sechin compared the UK to the biblical Noah

The United Kingdom broke ties with Europe in time, thanks to timely information from the United States. This was stated by Igor Sechin, CEO of Rosneft, speaking at the Doha Forum, comparing the behavior of the UK authorities to the actions of the biblical patriarch Noah.

"As in biblical history, one would like to ask the question, 'When did Noah build his ark?' The answer is simple: 'Before the Flood'. This is exactly what Great Britain did, which timely shoveled away from Europe going under water," Igor Sechin said.

The head of Rosneft noted that Britain's exit from the European Union occurred simultaneously with the actions of the United States, which led to the collapse of the EU economy.

"I think it's no secret for thinking politicians that Brexit was synchronized with the US actions to weaken the EU economy," Igor Sechin stressed.

He also pointed out that by imposing sanctions, including against Russia, the US systematically destroys the institution of contractual obligations, the legal system itself, and eventually the global market itself.

"Since 1971, America has finally abandoned the gold backing of the dollar, turning it into an instrument of unlimited emission. The subsequent collapse of the Soviet Union, the creation of a unipolar system after the elimination of a historical opponent eventually led to the undermining of the very foundations of democracy," Igor Sechin said.
