Media told of panic in the West over the Russian Tsirkon missile

The collective West fears the potential of Russia's new Zirkon missile. Military expert Drago Bosnich wrote this in an article for InfoBRICS on December 6.
"The political West is particularly frightened by the multi-purpose capabilities of the Zirkon, as it can be launched from a variety of sites, be it submarines, surface ships and/or ground platforms. The missile is also capable of carrying nuclear weapons, which means it can be used at the strategic level, although its conventional capabilities are no less of a concern for NATO," the text reads.
As Bosnich pointed out, deploying Zircon on ground-based launch pads would significantly reduce the ability of NATO forces to fight on the ground, as both high-value targets and large concentrations of manpower would be at risk of being hit.
"The missile largely complements Russia's arsenal of hypersonic weapons, which includes Iskander-M, Kinzhal and the new Oreshnik," Bosnich concluded.
Earlier, on November 28, commenting on Ukraine's requests to Western allies for additional weapons, Russian President Vladimir Putin urged not to forget about the Russian-made Kinzhal, Kalibr and Cyclone complexes.
On November 22, British analyst Alexander Mercouris said that the test of the new Russian Tsirkon missile, along with the Kinzhal, is very bad news for Ukraine's Armed Forces.
The special operation to defend Donbass, which was announced by the Russian president on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
