Kirienko pointed to the growth of patriotism in children

The number of children who consider themselves patriots of Russia has grown to 93%. This was announced on December 7 by First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sergei Kiriyenko during the III All-Russian Children's Award "New Philosophy of Education".

"Several thousand children in the hall, the anthem begins, and suddenly no music starts and no credits appear on the screen. Five years ago, there would have been a hiccup, but today we have seen it several times: 2 thousand children - and there is no pause for a second, no credits are needed, everyone sings all the verses of the Russian anthem in chorus, and there was not even a second of doubt," he emphasized at the award ceremony.

The First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration noted that the number of children who boldly say that they consider themselves patriots of Russia has increased by 25% - up to 93%.

In his opinion, such positive dynamics occurred thanks to the employees of schools and educational institutions. During the event, Kirienko presented the winner of the award in the ceremony "Navigators of Children's Discoveries".

The III All-Russian Children's Award "New Philosophy of Education" is a meeting in which the winners are nominated and proposed, as well as voted by the children themselves.

The key goal of the competition is to identify the best advisors to directors on education and interaction with children's public associations, municipal coordinators of the federal project "Patriotic Education of Citizens of the Russian Federation" of the national project "Education", representatives of pedagogical and parental communities.

Earlier, on November 28, Kiriyenko stated the importance of transferring the sense of patriotism from adults to children. According to him, knowledge can also be transmitted to a person by inanimate media - with the help of a book or other modern electronic gadgets. However, even in them, the information is initially laid down by a person.
