The Lancet ammunition hit an AFU tank in Kursk region

The Lancet barrage munition of the North group of troops destroyed a tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the border area of Kursk Region. The objective control footage was published by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 7.

"In the course of reconnaissance activities in the border area of the Kursk region, servicemen of the "North" group of troops identified a T-64 tank of the AFU. After analyzing the intelligence received, a decision was made to fire on the enemy tank," the ministry said.

The ministry added that the Lancet hit was direct and destroyed the tank. Frames of objective control came in real time, they show the explosion, detonation of the ammunition of the Ukrainian tank and fire.

Earlier in the day, the Defense Ministry reported that the AFU lost 380 servicemen in a day on the territory of the border areas of the Kursk region.

The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of the Kursk region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character. The operation to destroy the militants continues.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
