The court arrested an Orenburg resident who tried to sell his son


Leninsky district court of Orenburg ruled to remand a 21-year-old man, who tried to sell his one-and-a-half-year-old son for 1.5 million rubles. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of the Orenburg region in Telegram-channel on December 7.
The man is charged under p.p. "b", "z" part 2 of article 127.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Human trafficking").
"According to the version of the investigation, the accused looked for a buyer for his child in the territory of Orenburg. <...> He took the minor out of the household, handed him over to the buyer - a law enforcement officer - and received cash. The attacker was immediately detained", - stated in the message of the agency.
It is noted that the man will be detained until February 6, 2025.
On December 6, criminal investigation officers detained a 21-year-old man in Orenburg, who tried to sell his one-and-a-half-year-old son for 1.5 million rubles. The man entered into negotiations with a willing buyer a few days ago, while the child's mother is serving a prison sentence. The child is in a medical institution, his life is not threatened.
