The AFU lost 380 servicemen in the Kursk border area over the day


The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have lost 380 servicemen over the day on the territory of the border areas of Kursk Region. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 7.
"An armored fighting vehicle, four vehicles and three mortars were destroyed. Three AFU servicemen surrendered as prisoners of war," the ministry said.
It is specified that units of the "North" troop grouping struck enemy manpower and equipment in 11 settlements in Kursk region and six villages in Sumy region.
The Defense Ministry noted that during the fighting in the Kursk direction the AFU lost more than 38,000 servicemen, 169 infantry fighting vehicles, 1,231 armored combat vehicles and 1,096 vehicles.
On the eve of the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the AFU lost 232 tanks and 123 armored personnel carriers during the fighting in the Kursk region. Over the day, the Russian Armed Forces hit enemy manpower and equipment in the areas of 12 settlements in Kursk Region and six villages in Sumy Region with air strikes.
The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency. The operation to destroy the militants continues.
