Two children died in a fire in Podolsk


In Podolsk there was a fire in one of the apartments of a residential building, two children died in the fire. About it on Saturday, December 7, reported the Prosecutor's office of the Moscow region in Telegram-channel.
"Employees of the fire department in the course of extinguishing found two children of two and four years old. Despite the assistance rendered, the boys died in a medical facility," - stated in the message.
It is assumed that the fire could have arisen due to the emergency mode of operation of the electric heater. Fire-technical examinations will be conducted. It is also noted that the children were alone in the apartment.
The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (SU SK RF) in the region initiated a criminal case. At the moment, the Prosecutor's office of Podolsk establishes the circumstances of what happened.
Earlier, on December 5, two people died in a private house in the town of Syzran in the Samara region. A total of 47 specialists and 16 units of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire, including 25 people and seven units of equipment from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
