Three people were killed and two injured in a road accident in Kuzbass

In Belovo, Kemerovo region, as a result of a road accident involving two cars, three people were killed and two were injured. This was reported on Saturday, December 7, by the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kuzbass in Telegram-channel.

It is noted that the accident occurred on the 38th km of the highway Leninsk-Kuznetskiy - Kiselevsk.

"It is preliminarily established that the driver of "VAZ-2115", making an overtaking, went into the lane of oncoming traffic, where his car collided with a Kia Cerato. As a result of the accident killed the drivers of both vehicles, as well as a passenger "VAZ-2115", - stated in the message.

It is specified that the passengers of the cars received injuries of varying degrees of severity.

At the scene of the accident are working investigators. The circumstances of what happened are established.

Earlier, on November 22, in the Kuzbass city of Prokopyevsk driver Gelandewagen fatally hit a pensioner crossing the road on a crosswalk. A criminal case under part 3 of article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of road traffic and operation of vehicles") has been instituted. The man faces up to five years in prison.
