Gusev reported the elimination of a drone in Voronezh

The forces of air defense (Air Defense) and electronic warfare (REB) have eliminated a drone in Voronezh. This was reported by the Governor of the Voronezh region Alexander Gusev on December 7.

"During the period of danger by on-duty air defense forces and REB means, one UAV was detected and destroyed in Voronezh," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Gusev pointed out that, according to preliminary data, there were no casualties and destruction.

Earlier, on December 6, the Russian Defense Ministry said that air defense forces destroyed two AFU drones over the Astrakhan and Belgorod regions. The ministry specified that the attacks were foiled that day between 20:10 and 20:50 Moscow time.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
