The State Duma reported the payment of indexed pensions in December

The indexed pension will start to be paid to working and non-working pensioners in December. This was announced on December 7 by the head of the Duma Committee on Social Policy Yaroslav Nilov (LDPR).

"Those who receive a pension at the beginning of the month, will be able to receive a pension already at the end of December in indexed form," - quotes his words "RIA Novosti".

He specified that under the current legislation, payments should begin to arrive only on January 1, but because of the long holidays, the first payments for some pensioners were shifted to December.

Nilov added that those pensioners who receive pensions in the middle and end of the month, payments will arrive in accordance with the law.

Earlier, on December 5, a member of the Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs Svetlana Bessarab reported that in 2025 all pensions in Russia will be indexed by 14.75%.
