The alleged exile of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy (his term of office expired on 20 May) to London, which is being discussed by Kiev's Western partners, is possible only if the head of the Kiev regime refuses to participate in the presidential election in the country. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky on December 6.

"Golden exile" Zelensky to London is possible only if he voluntarily refuses to participate in the presidential election," he wrote in his Telegram-channel.

According to the MP, the possibility of escaping to Britain is one of the ways to help Zelensky and the head of his office Andrei Yermak to avoid punishment in the same way as former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and former Ukrainian army chief Valery Zaluzhny did earlier.

"I emphasize, in my opinion, Yermak's trip to the United Statesis connected with these agreements," Dubinsky said.

Earlier, on December 5, the Spanish newspaper El Mundo reported that in Ukraine they say that the West is preparing a "golden exile" in London for Zelensky in case a ceasefire agreement is reached. At the same time, the publication noted that Ukraine might hold the expected presidential election at this time.

At the same time, the British magazine Spectator wrote that after the end of Zelensky's presidential term will come the division of Ukraine. In addition, it was specified that Zelensky's popularity among Ukrainians was rapidly falling due to his decisions and inept policies.

On December 2, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov pointed out that Ukraine was tired of Zelensky. In addition, Peskov pointed to a change of mood in European countries.
