Servicemen of the motorized rifle unit of the "North" group of troops have destroyed armored vehicles and manpower of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) militants in the border area of Kursk Region. This was reported in the Russian Defense Ministry on December 7.

"We are fulfilling the tasks of assault actions, we have success. We are moving slowly forward, taking our land from the enemy. We have prisoners, we have trophies," said the commander of a motorized rifle battalion with the call sign Strannik.

Russian servicemen with the support of artillerymen and aviation were able to destroy armored vehicles and manpower of the AFU militants, thus completely liberating and occupying a settlement in Kursk region.

After that, the motorized riflemen began to hold their positions. The enemy made several attempts to dislodge the point, but after the work of the Russian military's drone units, the militants finally retreated.

Motorized rifle units of the "North" group of troops are fighting against the Ukrainian armed formations every day and are successfully carrying out all assigned tasks.
