The "like" button was clicked by 63.4 thousand people, and the publication was shared 22 thousand times. In addition, the publication gained more than 4 thousand comments.

Earlier in the day it was reported that the publication of Tucker Carlson in the social network X with an interview with Sergei Lavrov gained 2.9 million views.

In the interview Lavrov said that Russia has no intentions to destroy the Ukrainian people, as they are brothers and sisters to Russians. He recalled that it was not Russia that started the conflict and added that after the coup d'état took place in Ukraine, the USA did not hide its participation in it.

At the same time, the Russian minister called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, whose powers expired on May 20, inadequate if, after all his statements about the Russian-speaking population, he wants to return people of Russian culture under his territorial integrity.

Speaking about newly elected US President-elect Republican Donald Trump, Lavrov called him a strong man who does not like to put things off.

"We respect any choice made by people while voting. We respect the choice of the American people. As President Vladimir Putin said, we are open and have always been open for contacts with the current administration," the minister emphasized.

In the same interview, he said that Moscow would like to have normal relations with Washington, but the US is waging a hybrid war against Russia in Ukraine. It is a mistake to think that Russia has no red lines.
