Russia has introduced a single cost of exams for migrants throughout the country. The corresponding document, signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, was published on December 6 on the official portal of legal information.

"To establish that the amount of the fee for taking exams for the purposes of acquiring citizenship of the Russian Federation is: a) in the Russian language - 2950 rubles; b) in the history of Russia and the basics of legislation of the Russian Federation - 2950 rubles", - stated in the text of the document.

It is specified that the cost of the exam for obtaining a work permit amounted to Br3,800, for obtaining a work permit - Br3,800, and for the acquisition of Russian citizenship - Br2,950.

Earlier, on December 4, "Izvestia" found out that the government of the Moscow region proposed to cancel the exam in Russian for migrants at the construction site. For this purpose, some procedures should be simplified - for example, the period of arrival and departure for work should be cut from 150 to 50 days. Increase the term of work permit from one year to three and cancel the Russian language exam. Moreover, the Moscow region considers it necessary to provide for registration of migrants at the place of stay at construction sites and reduce the permitted area of residence from 4 to 2.5 square meters. m.

Before that, November 22, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that in order to end crime among migrants, it is necessary to regulate labor migration, to tighten and simplify the rules in this area.

November 7, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the Russian authorities should be primarily guided by the interests of Russians in attracting migrants. According to him, it is necessary to create conditions when people coming to work will be ready for it: they will know the language, traditions and laws of the country. In this case, there will be no rejection on the part of Russian citizens.
