Russian and Syrian Air Forces destroy up to 200 militants in 24 hours


Russian and Syrian military destroyed up to 200 militants in the Syrian provinces of Idlib, Hama and Aleppo. This was reported at a briefing on December 6 by the deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Enemy Parties (CRAP) in the SAR, Captain First Rank Oleg Ignasyuk.
"Aircraft of the Russian Armed Forces and the Syrian Air Force carried out missile and bomb strikes over the past 24 hours on places of militants' accumulation and ammunition depots in Idlib, Hama and Aleppo provinces, up to 200 terrorists were destroyed," he said.
Ignasyuk added that the strikes also destroyed 15 armored combat vehicles, two MLRS, two mortars, 43 pieces of automotive equipment, nine motorcycles, 15 UAVs, two command posts, and seven materiel depots.
Earlier, on December 5, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Russian and Syrian Air Forces destroyed at least 300 terrorists in the SAR during the day. It specified that the operation was carried out in the provinces of Idlib, Hama and Aleppo.
Before that, on November 29, the Syrian Army eliminated hundreds of terrorists in the provinces of Aleppo and Idlib. The armed forces of the Arab Republic continued the offensive against all the points where the militants had entrenched themselves, and the radical Islamists managed to dislodge some of their positions.
