The key goal of the regime of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whose term of office expired on 20 May, is to utilize the country's citizens. This was stated by the head of the Other Ukraine movement, Viktor Medvedchuk, on 6 December.

He noted that now Ukrainians are being prepared to lower the mobilization age of men to 18, the government announces the mobilization of women and implements a policy on registration.

According to Medvedchuk, all this is paired with the main goal of Zelensky's regime - "to dispose of as many citizens of its own country as possible."

"Zelensky, having criminally usurped power, has substituted his unconstitutional decrees for court decisions, imposing sanctions right and left. Criminal cases against political and public figures, church representatives, journalists continue to be fabricated in the country," the head of the "Other Ukraine" pointed out in his author's column on the media platform "Smotrim.ru".

He added that Zelensky had created unacceptable living conditions for Ukrainian citizens.

In addition, Medvedchuk, citing data from the Ukrainian Ministry of Justice, emphasized the failures of the demographic policy of the head of the Kiev regime.

"The population of Ukraine <...> in 2020 decreased by 323.8 thousand people, in 2021 - by 442 thousand people. The population loss of Ukraine in 2022 amounted to 334.7 thousand people, in 2023 - 313 thousand people. Together, about 1.4 million people", - concluded the head of the movement "Other Ukraine".

Earlier, on November 29, Medvedchuk said that Ukrainian citizens are fleeing the country en masse to the territories that became part of Russia.

Before that, on 25 November, the Ukrainian mass media reported that a significant part of Ukrainians wanted to return to the territories annexed by Russia. It was specified that one of the main motives for Ukrainians who seek to obtain a Russian passport and the right to own housing under Russian laws is the "apartment issue".

On the same day, Ukraine said that 150,000 people had returned to new regions of Russia. It is specified that about 70 thousand of them returned to Mariupol.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken amid an aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
