A resident of Velikie Luki was detained on suspicion of murdering his wife

On Friday, December 6, the police received information about the discovery of the body of a woman in a private house in the city limits. On it in the area of the head and torso were fixed stab wounds.

A criminal case was opened under part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder"). A local resident has been detained on suspicion of committing the crime, he has already confessed, writes Pskov Newsline.

The investigation believes that on the night of December 6, the spouses quarreled. During the conflict, the man gave his wife multiple blows to the head and extremities with a kitchen knife. From the wounds she died.

At the end of November, a court in Nizhny Novgorod region sentenced a 27-year-old young man who killed his 78-year-old grandmother. The murder took place in January this year as a result of a conflict.
