Political analyst tells of Trump's intention to make US elections transparent

The US Democratic Party may lose power for a long time if Republican President Donald Trump, who won the election, makes the electoral process more transparent. This opinion was shared with Izvestia on December 6 by Pavel Feldman, candidate of political sciences, associate professor at the Academy of Labor and Social Relations.
Earlier in the day, according to Newsweek, Trump said that he was going to change the order of elections in the country. He said the incoming administration wants to advocate for paper ballots, one-day voting, voter ID, and proof of citizenship.
"DonaldTrump is interested in increasing the transparency of American elections, as he and future Vice President James David Vance are not afraid of a fair competition with representatives of the Democratic Party. But the Democrats, on the contrary, with their electoral novelties tried to make the voting procedure as confusing, complicated and stretched in time as possible," Feldman commented.
According to him, incumbent U.S. President Joe Biden was able to win the last election solely due to unprecedented fraud. Thus, the interlocutor of the edition explained, at the moment in some states, for example, in California, ballots are issued without presenting a passport. There are numerous examples when the same citizens voted three times at different polling stations. A few years ago in New York, migrants and stateless persons received voting rights, the expert said.
"Such a practice the Democrats wanted to extend to the whole country. If Trump can return American elections to legality and transparency, the Democrats risk losing control over the White House for a long time, because without the use of fraud and administrative resources they are not competitive," concluded the political scientist.
Earlier in the day, Trump received the "Patriot of the Year" award at the annual Fox Nation Patriots Awards in New York. In a thank-you speech, he said that "America will be great again."
Before that, on November 15, political scientist-Americanist Malek Dudakov expressed the opinion that after the inauguration of Trump we should expect significant changes in the foreign policy of the United States. According to him, compared to 2016, the team of the President-elect is now much more "Trumpist".
The election of the 47th president of the United States was held on November 5. In the national vote, Trump received 51% of the vote, while the Democratic candidate Kamala Harris received 47.4%. Later, the politician, speaking to supporters, said that his goal as head of state considers the end of military conflicts in the world. Trump's inauguration will take place on January 20, 2025.
