Georgy Garanyan's Melody Ensemble will perform at the Kremlin Palace

On December 13, 2024, the Small Hall of the State Kremlin Palace will host a New Year's concert "Snow Jazz". It will be presented by Georgy Garanian's legendary Melodiya ensemble together with the popular singer Honored Artist of Russia Nina Shatskaya.

"Snow Jazz" is a whirlwind of wonderful New Year melodies. "A Christmas tree was born in the forest" and Happy New Year, "Carnival Night" and Jingle Bells ... Familiar from childhood music arranged by the maestro of Russian jazz Georgy Garanyan and performed by the orchestra created by him. The soloist of the concert - Honored Artist of Russia, owner of an enchanting voice Nina Shatskaya.

The program of the festive evening will include musical symbols of the New Year, domestic and foreign hits. More than one generation in our country is familiar with the music of Georgy Aramovich Garanyan, whose 90th anniversary is celebrated this year. Garanyan's works have been heard from movie and television screens: "Pokrovskie Vorota", "The Diamond Hand", "We Are From Jazz", and finally, the cartoon "Well, Wait!" adored by all Soviet children. The mastery of improvisation will be demonstrated by the orchestra's soloists Alexander Ivanov with his exotic instrument Washboard, lyrical tenor saxophonist Dmitry Kondrashov and the orchestra's first trombonist and vocalist Yuri Koveshnikov.
