Sales of trucks fell in Russia

In November 2024, 9.2 thousand trucks were sold in Russia, which is 25.6% less than a year ago. This was reported by the analytical agency "Autostat" on December 6.

From April to September, the truck market constantly demonstrated a decline, in October it had a slight growth, and in November it again went "in the minus", analysts said.

The market leader is KamAZ, which accounted for 23% of the total volume in the last month of the fall. Next come Chinese Sitrak, Shacman, FAW and Dongfeng. In the model ranking, the top five include Sitrak C7H, Dongfeng 4180, KAMAZ-54901 and GAZ GAZon Next, as well as FAW J7.

At the end of 11 months of 2024, the market volume of new trucks in Russia amounted to 115.6 thousand units, it is 11.8% less than in January - November last year.

Market participants forecast further decline in sales of cars

Earlier, on December 4, Andrey Terlyukevich, General Director of AutoSpecCenter Group of Companies, told Izvestia that there is a long-term trend of decline in new car sales in Russia at the end of 2024. In his opinion, the decrease in car sales will continue in 2025, following the results of which the market will fall by 10-20%.
