- Putin says almost all disputed issues on integration of Russia and Belarus have been resolved

Almost all the issues on the integration of Russia and Belarus, which were controversial, have been agreed upon. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on December 6 following the meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State (SS) in Minsk.
"As of today, Alexander Grigorievich [Lukashenko] knows it, colleagues know it from both sides, almost all the issues that caused some disputes and the need for coordination, they are all just agreed," Putin said.
He noted that Russia and Belarus still have a number of issues in the economic sphere, which need to be finalized. At the same time, Putin pointed out that the meetings of representatives of the two states are aimed just at resolving the controversial points in view of the huge volume of interaction.
"We will do this. I am sure we will achieve good results, because on both sides there is readiness and willingness to continue joint constructive work, which means that solutions will be found. There are no such issues that would cause any dissatisfaction in the development of our relations on one side or the other," Putin emphasized.
The Russian leader thanked his Belarusian counterpart for the invitation to visit Minsk, as well as for the warm welcome.
Earlier in the day, Putin and Lukashenko signed a treaty on security guarantees between the two countries. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, answering Izvestia's question in Minsk, that deepened interaction between Russia and Belarus in the security sphere is necessary for allied cooperation between the two countries. According to his information, these measures will, among other things, concern the "nuclear umbrella."
During a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, the Belarusian president asked Putin to supply the republic with Russian complexes for launching hypersonic ballistic missile of medium range "Oreshnik". The Russian leader, in turn, admitted that the placement of the complex for launching the "Oreshnik" on the territory of the republic is possible in the second half of 2025.
In addition, Putin noted that cooperation between Russia and Belarus is based on the principle of friendship and mutual consideration of interests, and said that interaction in the field of industry is developing with a focus on import substitution. Lukashenko said during the meeting that signing a union treaty with Russia was the right decision. According to him, Moscow and Minsk can realize their potential only in cooperation.
