In Russia in 2024, 53% of surveyed companies will increase employee salaries

In 2024, 53% of the surveyed companies will increase employee salaries. This is stated in the results of the research of the services "Work.ru" and "SberPodbor", which were familiarized by "Izvestia".

Also, 44% of respondents noted the growth of brand recognition, and 43% were able to increase profits. Expansion of the client base and opening of new lines of business were important achievements for 41% and 40% of the survey participants, respectively.

In addition, as the experts specified, the expansion of highly qualified staff, reported by 34% of respondents, is also an indicator of growth and development.

Assessing their performance in 2024 on a five-point scale, the majority of respondents (59%) gave themselves a four, noting that they could have done better but were generally satisfied with their results. 16% of respondents rated their results as average. 22% of survey participants reported that the year was not easy, but they managed to cope with difficulties. And only 3% admitted that the year was the most unsuccessful in their company's history.

In 2025, more than half of respondents (56%) intend to increase the number of employees. Expanding the geography of business and opening new lines of business are also in the plans of 38% and 25% of companies, respectively. Introducing a new system of employee bonuses and increasing the budget for advertising are steps that 19% and 22% of organizations intend to take. Also 16% of business representatives told about plans to open new offices. The same number (16%) have decided to focus on one line of business. At the same time 9% will transfer employees to a hybrid format of work.

Earlier, on October 29, it was reported that among employed Russians 37% of respondents positively perceive overtime, if the employer pays extra for them. And only 11% of employees are willing to perform overtime tasks without compensation. This is evidenced by a survey conducted by the analytical center "Consol.Pro".
